Astralis Carbon Offset Projects

Projects Supported by Astralis Customers

A-Gas V14

A-Gas V14

Texas, USA

This project reduces greenhouse gas emissions by recovering, reclaiming, and reusing HFC refrigerants from HVAC and refrigeration equipment. Funded by carbon credit sales, it prevents harmful emissions, avoids new HFC production, and supports environmental sustainability.

Tahuamanu Amazon REDD Project

Tahuamanu Amazon REDD+

Madre de Dios region, Peru

This Project protects a significant portion of the Amazon rainforest, an area rich in biodiversity and vital ecosystems. It helps reduce illegal deforestation driven by small-scale agriculture, including maize cultivation and livestock production, while supporting the long-term conservation of the forest.

Gaston County Landfill Gas Destruction Project

Gaston County Landfill

Dallas, North Carolina, USA

This Project reduces greenhouse gas emissions by capturing and destroying landfill methane while generating enough renewable energy to power approximately 1,600 homes annually. The project uses gas extraction wells, collection systems, and power generation facilities.

Restauración Forestal Projects

Restauración Forestal

Yucatán Peninsula, Mexico

This project fights CO2 emissions by promoting forest growth, earning carbon credits for incremental growth, while involving local communities in forest protection and restoration funded by credit sales for socio-economic improvements.

Elk Forestry Project

Elk Forestry Project

Bell, Clay, Knox, and Leslie Counties, KY, USA

This Project is located on approximately 14,230 acres of mixed hardwood forests in southeastern Kentucky and reduces over 19,000 mT of carbon dioxide annually by increasing the amount of CO2 stored in the forest.

Disclaimer: Astralis only purchases carbon credits for emission removals and reductions that have already occurred and been validated by independent third-party review. If purchased credits are reversed, they will be replaced by Terrapass with credits of comparable quality
