Not Carbon Balanced Yet?
When you purchase carbon offsets from Terrapass, you become eligible to display the Terrapass Badge for one year while helping fund verified environmental projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Terrapass Badge Program Terms of Service
Please review the following terms and marketing guidelines before displaying the Terrapass Badge on your website, blog, or other online platform (“website”). By using the badge, you agree to these Terms of Service. Terrapass reserves the right to update these terms at any time.
Eligibility Requirements
- You have purchased carbon offsets from Terrapass within the previous 365 days
- Every badge displayed links back to the Terrapass homepage
- The badge is not altered or incorporated into another logo
- Websites receiving more than 25,000 page views per day must contact Terrapass before displaying the badge
Approved Badge Modifications
- The badge may be resized proportionally, but not smaller than 57px high
- You may host the badge image on your own website
- HTTPS versions of the badge image may be used on secure pages
- The badge link may open in a new browser tab or window
Additional Terms
Terrapass reserves the right to request removal of the badge from any website at its sole discretion. You agree to comply with any removal request within five (5) business days.
Please note that the Terrapass Badge Program is not an environmental certification program. Displaying the badge simply indicates that carbon offsets were purchased through Terrapass during a specific period. It does not certify your organization’s carbon footprint, sustainability practices, or emissions reductions.
