Most office or retail businesses generate up to 0.5 mT of carbon emissions per employee every month from energy use, waste, travel, shipping, and commuting.* This subscription multiplies that 0.5 mT estimate by your employee count and automatically offsets that amount each month by purchasing carbon credits from projects in the Terrapass Global Portfolio.

Our Global Portfolio includes a diverse mix of projects across the world that restore natural climate resilience, protect critical ecosystems, and reduce climate super-pollutants. Every carbon credit you purchase is an independently verified carbon removal or reduction generated by these projects under the supervision of ICVCM CCP-Eligible registries like Verra, American Carbon Registry, or Climate Action Reserve.

You receive a Certificate of Purchase displaying your contribution to reducing global carbon emissions and Terrapass retires carbon credits for your purchase.

You can adjust your employee count as your team grows or shrinks or cancel anytime.

How does Terrapass ensure that its offset projects are really making a difference?

Terrapass ensures our offsets are making a difference in several ways. Prior to adding a project to our portfolio we perform due diligence to fully understand the impact of each project. Once the project is in our portfolio we monitor and verify all of the emissions reductions that are taking place. Finally all projects in our portfolio must pass the “additionality” test. Additionality refers to the concept of whether your carbon offset purchase really brings about carbon reductions, or whether the reductions would have happened anyway. If the purchase of carbon offsets is a critical factor in making the reductions happen, the reductions are said to be “additional” to the business-as-usual case. By verifying and checking at each step in the process we are committed to making sure our projects are clearing the air.
