Green-e Energy ® Certified Terrapass RECS

Terrapass RECs is a Green-e Energy Certified renewable energy certificate product and does not contain electricity. A REC represents the environmental benefits of 1 megawatt hour of renewable energy that can be paired with electricity. The Green-e Energy National Standard is administered by the Center for Resource Solutions, an independent nonprofit, and covers how the certificates are tracked, verified, and retired, so they are never claimed by more than one buyer. This is the right choice if you need RECs that meet that standard for your own reporting or a customer requirement, since the certification and product content label give you documentation behind the purchase. A minimum purchase of 5 RECs (5 MWh or 5,000 kWh) is required.
You’ll receive a Certificate of Green-e Energy Certified REC Purchase displaying your contribution to renewable energy, RECs are retired on your behalf by Terrapass, and Terrapass processes your purchase in the annual Green-e Energy Verification Audit.
