How do carbon offsets work?

What is the difference between Aviation Gas and Jet Fuel?

There are two commonly used fuel types: the first is AVGAS, also known as Aviation Gas, and the second is Jet Fuel. Choosing the right aviation fuel for your aircraft depends mainly on its engine type. AVGAS is used for piston-engine aircraft which these types of aircrafts can fly through the rotation of the propellers generating thrust. Jet Fuel is used for aircraft with turbine-engine jets.

If the purchase of carbon offsets is a critical factor in making the reductions happen, the reductions are said to be “additional” to the business-as-usual case. By verifying and checking at each step in the process we are committed to making sure our projects are clearing the air.
